Certified Phlebotomy Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Certified Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team. As a Certified Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the phlebotomy department and ensuring high-quality and efficient phlebotomy services. You will also play a vital role in training and mentoring new phlebotomists, as well as maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the phlebotomy department
• Ensure the efficient and accurate collection, labeling, and transport of specimens
• Train and mentor phlebotomists on proper techniques and procedures
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and quality of phlebotomy services
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA
• Monitor and maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
• Evaluate and implement new phlebotomy techniques and technologies to improve patient care

Requirements

• Current certification as a Phlebotomy Supervisor
