Responsibilities include:Why Work Here?- PTO – Paid Time off and paid holidays- Medical, dental, vision benefits- Company recognition- Paid Professional and Industry certifications and training- Fun, family focused cultureJob Description: • Managing all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition and inventory accounting• Coordinating and directing budgetary and financial forecasts• Coordinating regulatory reporting• Preparing and publishing monthly financial statements• Researching technical accounting issues for compliance• Ensuring quality control for financial reporting and transactions• Managing and complying with reporting requirements and tax filings for local, state and federal government• Developing and documenting accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls• Manage marketing budgets and create reports on results• Respectful and confident leader of the accounting staff as well as other critical accounting functions• Work closely with office manager on proper office structure and accountabilityTop Skills: Full-cycle accounting experienceConstruction or manufacturing industryPeople management experienceExperience with mid to large size companiesBudgeting, forecasting, variance analysis experienceExperience developing and implementing processes/proceduresAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros etc.)Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related fieldAbout Aston Carter:Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
