Industrial Maintenance Technician
Distribution center seeks in-house, experienced mechanic for electromechanical transportation equipment including overall maintenance, repairs, inspections, ordering parts, etc. Pay based on experience, great benefits!
Description:
Maintenance Technician mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems.
PLC troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Technician has to act as a liaison for internal and external resources, and be on call as needed.
This position requires strong project management skills, effective communication skills, be self directed, and have the ability to multi-task and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Technicians will be in charge of equipment such as:
-Mechanical and electrical equipment and components
-3 phase motors, 480v
-Integrated Systems with PLCs
-Allen Bradley PLCs (old and new ones) troubleshooting and repair using PLC on the following equipment:
-High Speed Automated Sorting machines
-VFDs, Photo Eyes, Sensors
-Robotic equipment
-Gantry cranes
-30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, 12 cranes
-PLC PM programs, update on computer status using TMI Systems. (software)
