The Manager Network Operation Control (NOC) Analytical Planning leads a Team that conducts analyses and provides network recommendations to the Disruption Pod and other key stakeholders. This role is responsible for evaluating quantitative and qualitative data surrounding irregular operations to minimize the impact of potential disruptions. The Manager NOC Analytical Planning is a strategic thinker and skilled communicator who is excited about the opportunity to guide and develop this Team while supporting the NOC.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
Work with the Senior Manager Planning and Manager Planning to determine key priorities for the Planning Team and provide analytical support
Prioritize and align on the analyses, forecasts, and what-if scenarios to conduct in preparation of potentials IROPS / disruptions
Prepare the analytical components of the playbooks and recommendations that are shared with the Disruption Pod and or day-of stakeholders in preparation of disruptions / IROPS
Coordinate with the Disruption Pod Manager on their analytical needs and requests by providing them support and or staffing (data analysts) when necessary
Work collaboratively with adjacent Network Operations Center groups to refine planning objectives and expectations
Establish the setup of information flows, processes and data structures to support the undertaken analysis and to support the analysts
Work alongside the Director/Sr. Manager of Analytics to ensure Planning / day-of analytics Team is properly resourced, staffed, and organized, in addition to aligning on network priorities throughout the planning process
Align analyses outcomes with adjacent groups and gather their inputs and feedback to improve future analyses
Manage the documentation of analysis and outcomes in an accessible repository
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledgeable in SQL, R, Python, and Excel
Skilled in visualizing data to drive insights using tools such as think-cell, MS Excel, Tableau, etc.
Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
Ability to set a strategic vision and gain buy in and support
Ability to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information into meaningful patterns
Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and lead through influence
Ability to demonstrate and maintain a high regard for confidential and sensitive information

Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading Team(s)
Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
Airline operations/disruption management analytics
Operational data sets, tools and systems
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be able to work extended hours based on operational needs
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $130,750/year to $145,300.00/year* depending on qualifications and experience, with opportunity for future pay increases based on performance and market movement. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
