Warehouse Coordinator - UPS

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at UPS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of packages. The Warehouse Coordinator will ensure that all packages are processed accurately, timely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure that packages are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Plan, organize, and prioritized work activities to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
• Train and coach new and existing employees on warehouse procedures and policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the efficient flow of packages through the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all packages are properly labeled and stored.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure that it is in good working condition.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of UPS systems and procedures is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires the ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
• This position requires the ability to lift and move heavy packages.
• This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
