The Kitchen Assistant at Wendy's are true professionals, dedicated to providing customers with the best possible dining experience. They carefully cook small portions of food in regular intervals to keep the quality of our menu items intact. Key Responsibilities:

• One of the advantages of cooking small batches is that you have greater control over the cooking time and temperature, which ultimately leads to better flavors and textures
• Ensuring spotless restaurant hygiene safeguards against the spread of germs and diseases
• Daily oil filtration of fryers is crucial to avoid the accumulation of contaminants and to ensure food safety
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Maintaining a clean workplace includes attention to cleaning equipment, restrooms, stock rooms, and windows (both inside and outside)
• Managing truck deliveries at a minimum of twice weekly
• Discarding detritus and eliminating junk
• Mastery of designated kitchen equipment
• A skilled chef knows the tricks of the trade when it comes to cutting and handling food products

Qualifications:

• While past involvement in a related position is desirable, it is not mandatory
• Demonstrating the ability to function competently in a quick-paced work setting
• A steadfast devotion to accuracy and precision
• Excellent communication skills
• Competence to elevate and move items up to 50-pound weight limit
• A willingness to evolve and advance skills within the company is fundamental in building a successful career
