As a Fulfillment Coordinator at Lowe's, delivering quality customer service is an integral part of your role. You are responsible for ensuring that each customer who walks into the store has a positive experience:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to the needs of customers and colleagues while maintaining a friendly demeanor is important in any business setting.
  • The task of guaranteeing that the products are in excellent condition, precisely tracked, and delivered promptly to customers is of the utmost importance.
  • Safely extracting merchandise for loading onto delivery vehicles and aiding customers and staff in the safe relocation of goods.

The Fulfillment Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting various groups of people, namely customers, delivery team members, and Installation Providers, by performing tasks such as arranging orders for pickup, restocking shelves and loading merchandise into vehicles. Engaging in conversations with other associates to ensure timely delivery of correct products is a key aspect of this job. Accuracy is essential in pulling, inspecting, and readying merchandise for delivery or pickup, as well as in verifying invoices against loaded goods to ensure correct product delivery to customers. The timely preparation of deliveries, including loading of larger items such as appliances, also falls under the responsibility of the Fulfillment Associate. Health and safety protocols must be adhered to, since this associate is frequently lifting and moving items for both staff and customers. Fulfillment Associates handling the Pro Department must be certified to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and electrical lifts within 30 days of beginning work.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is not a standard requirement for this position, but occasional trips may be necessary for attending meetings, trainings or assisting nearby stores.

As per our requirements, we have a specific set of criteria that we are seeking in potential candidates:

  • Hourly Employment Options: Either working full time or part time, with the former usually demanding 39 to 40 hours a week and the latter up to 25 hours a week, with additional hours as necessary.
  • The position necessitates being available during the morning, afternoon, and evening without any specific day-off.
  • The job may require extended periods of physical exertion, such as standing or sitting for prolonged periods, and engaging in other activities necessary to accomplish tasks.
  • The person should have the capability to carry a weight of 25 pounds at least without any external aid. They may also lift weights that exceed 25 pounds, with some support or without it.

The Key to Success: There are many keys to success, but the most important one is perseverance and the ability to never give up on your dreams:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The capability to read, write, and execute fundamental arithmetic operations (such as addition and subtraction) is essential.
  • Demonstrating 6 months of familiarity with computers, including tasks such as inputting, accessing, modifying, and outputting data.
  • I have half a year of familiarity with prevalent retail technology, including smart phones and tablets.
  • Compliance with legal requirements for obtaining sales related licensure or registration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the retail industry for a period of six months.
  • A background of working for half a year in a customer service or product fulfillment role at a home improvement store or hardware retailer, specifically in areas such as plumbing, electrical, kitchen, or lawn and garden, is required.
  • A half-year of involvement in any field, examining, and moving products or materials in and out of vehicles.
