Responsibilities
Carries out duties linked to the collection, safekeeping, and distribution of goods, complying with productivity, excellence, safety, behavior, and attendance requirements
When conducting transactions related to inbound and outbound processes at distribution centers, efficient and effective use is made of established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies
Perform designated warehouse functions safely by utilizing established processes, procedures, and tools, achieving performance targets for productivity, quality, safety, and attendance
Obligations may cover different tasks such as offloading, placing, grouping, marking, selecting, boxing, refilling, assessing, shipping, manufacturing packaging, and many others
Product movement, handling, and storage must adhere to company policies, guidelines, and procedures at Grainger. Additionally, all employees must comply with state and federal regulations, OSHA requirements, and Hazardous Material best practices
Executes necessary cleaning responsibilities to ensure a sanitized and efficient workplace
Employs Grainger's quality management system to drive continuous improvement efforts
Follow instructions to operate PIE
Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, and Turret Truck are some of the machinery options available as PIE equipment
