- Scheduled Delivery: Efficiently schedule merchandise delivery, guarantee on-time arrivals, and satisfy customers by meeting deadlines and ensuring punctual goods delivery.
- Cargo handling procedures involve the precise maneuvering of cargo onto trucks, taking all necessary precautions to safeguard the goods while in transport.
- Vehicle Maintenance is Key: Ongoing vehicle maintenance is essential to keep your vehicles running safely and efficiently. Be sure to perform regular checks and report any issues immediately to keep your vehicles in good condition.
- Maintaining Documentation: Retain precise documentation of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery operations. Accurately complete all obligatory paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, and provide them on time.
- Clear and efficient communication is critical in managing delivery tasks and resolving issues that may emerge during transit between drivers, dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
- When representing Costco to customers and stakeholders during interactions, providing exceptional customer service is important in demonstrating the company's professional and polite culture.
Requirements:
- A spotless driving record is mandatory when possessing a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Reliable background as an experienced truck operator, primarily within the transportation or logistics industry.
- An in-depth understanding of traffic safety regulations and laws is a must.
- Aptitude to pilot and handle various sorts of trucks and equipment.
- Your top-notch communication skills allow you to interact and collaborate with others seamlessly.
- Adequate physical endurance and stamina needed to endure extensive hauls and long hours behind the wheel.
