Lowe's is hiring for Receiver/Stocker

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have access to the products they need. Your responsibilities will include accurately receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Receive, stock, and replenish merchandise
• Follow proper lifting guidelines to ensure safe moving and placement of products
• Safely unload merchandise from incoming freight
• Move merchandise to the sales floor and stock departments
• Handle hazardous materials and replace damaged shelving
• Keep the backroom organized and ensure equipment is charged
• Organize merchandise and top stock to set up stores for sales success

Requirements:

• Ability to understand and prepare for the physical demands of moving merchandise for the majority of your shift
• Availability for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts any day of the week
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance

Travel Requirements:

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores may be necessary.

What We're Looking For:

• Hourly Full Time or Part Time availability; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction)
• Preferred: 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
• Preferred: 6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
