Job Description
The position of Lot Associates requires an individual to help customers with their vehicle loading and maintain the store entrance. Being the first and last associate to interact with customers, excellent customer service skills are essential.

- The policy for providing sick leave time for part-time workers includes the accrual of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked or a minimum of 2 hours per month, whichever is more beneficial to the employee.
Qualification:
- Most employers require a high school diploma or its comparable level of education for candidates seeking this entry-level position.
- Strong customer service expertise, including being approachable, friendly, and helpful, is required for Lot Associates to proficiently interact with customers.
- Physical fitness is essential for this job as it involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting heavy objects, and pushing carts.
- Providing excellent assistance while maintaining a smooth store operation requires a proficiency in communicating effectively with both colleagues and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring a clean, tidy, and debris-free outdoor environment. This involves sweeping the premises, removing trash, and presenting seasonal merchandise in a neat and organized manner.
- The act of collecting shopping carts left by customers in the parking lot and returning them promptly to designated areas both inside and outside the store.
- Traffic flow management within the loading zone is essential to promote efficient and secure loading and unloading of merchandise. This might require coordinating with colleagues, directing traffic and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- It is essential to remain watchful and detect any potential safety hazards or security threats in the parking lot. Addressing such concerns quickly by taking necessary actions such as reporting suspicious behavior or providing assistance to vulnerable individuals will ensure ongoing safety.
