Sr. Procurement Specialist
Sr. Procurement Specialist | Fully Remote
Key Role:
Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with procurement, negotiations, or solicitation preparation
- Experience with evaluating or negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value
- Experience with evaluating statements of work or bill of materials for completeness
- Experience with evaluating source justifications to ensure compliance to the procurement award type
- Knowledge of evaluating requirements for hardware, software, fabrication, or electronic components procurements in support of a government contract, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, special requirements, or performance work statement
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience evaluating software license agreements to ensure conformance with federal regulation, including GSAM or GSAR
- Experience educating on contract requirements and procurement processes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize based on demand of requirements or workload
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of excellent organization, consultative, and problem-solving skills
