• Description:* We are searching for an individual that can lead and inspire change within the accounting team, that includes, a JCA, AP Specialist and AR Specialist. We are looking to you to bring new and innovative ideas to help improve our processes. We need a controller that is precise, analytical, accurate and is an expert in construction accounting. • Job Duties:*


• Managing all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition and inventory accounting


• Coordinating and directing budgetary and financial forecasts


• Coordinating regulatory reporting


• Preparing and publishing monthly financial statements


• Researching technical accounting issues for compliance


• Ensuring quality control for financial reporting and transactions


• Managing and complying with reporting requirements and tax filings for local, state and federal government


• Developing and documenting accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls


• Manage marketing budgets and create reports on results


• Respectful and confident leader of the accounting staff as well as other critical accounting functions


• Work closely with office manager on proper office structure and accountability


• Qualifications & Experience:




• 5-10 years of full-cycle accounting experience


• 4+ years of experience within the construction or manufacturing industry


• 4+ years of people management experience


• Experience with mid to large size companies: $20M+ in revenue and 75+ employees


• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis experience


• Experience developing and implementing processes/procedures


• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros etc.)


• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
