Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the maintenance services provider executes preventive maintenance services and thoroughly inspects, diagnoses, and repairs vehicles and equipment.

• The ability to work independently is necessary as tasks are assigned with written instructions and established procedures.
• Executes fixes and designated proactive maintenance duties.
• The individual conducts assessments, analysis, and fixations of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air mechanisms on transportation and machinery.
• Relies on vehicle computer electronics to decipher failure modes and determine appropriate repair actions.
• The process of determining the expected costs of vehicle repairs and acquiring new components is an essential duty for anyone who works on cars.
• Adheres to the Standard Repair Time (SRT) principles while performing any given task.
• Urgent maintenance requests are attended to ensure minimum downtime.
• Carrying out safety evaluations on vehicles has become crucial to avoid accidents.
• Fleet maintenance software is the necessary tool to accurately complete paperwork required to document vehicle repairs, account for repair times, and track parts usage.
• Aids in completing project work under the direction of senior Mechanics.
• Keeping vehicles running smoothly and safely is a top priority for all parties involved. Regular monitoring of the Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports ensures that necessary repairs are assigned and completed in a timely manner.
• Follows established safety protocols to ensure a clean and secure workspace, in compliance with Corporate and OSHA Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Not required.
• Two years of appropriate work experience are necessary for this position.

In certain professions, such as medicine or law, individuals must hold a valid license to practice their profession

• The candidate must possess an up-to-date driver's license as well as a flawless driving history.
• Those who have not yet turned 18 years of age are ineligible.
• Legal work authorization is necessary to receive certain benefits and protections in the U.S.
• Talent to complete the physical demands of the position, even with the possibility of reasonable modifications.
• Prior to being hired, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam to ensure that they are fit to work for the company.
