Job Description:Stockroom Attendant

Ensuring the availability of prepared foods products, monitoring inventory control, and participating in promotional programs are core responsibilities of this job. Organizing and maintaining promotional displays in accordance with OTS standards are also essential duties. Providing friendly and efficient service, maintaining a positive company image, and following Standard Operating Procedures are all required. Moreover, being available to perform other duties as needed is expected. Upholding core values, supporting store initiatives, and complying with health and safety regulations are also mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Sources and restocks food items following appropriate purchasing laws for cooking.
  • Takes a systematic and proactive approach to monitoring open PO and credit reports, and executing necessary actions on time and with precision.
  • The control specialist plays a key role in achieving turn goals by minimizing shrinkage and spoilage.
  • Provides written documentation on spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets to record progress.
  • Provides backup support for counter service and culinary duties according to the scheduled time or when needed.
  • Discusses buying requirements and troubles with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader to ensure smooth operation.
  • Cultivates a favorable business rapport with external partners.
  • Partners with the Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader(s) to calculate the cost of the recipe.
  • Coordinates special orders for customers located outside of the country.
  • Aids in the inventory process to support leadership.
  • By surpassing expected levels of purchasing and sales, businesses are able to maintain a strong bottom line.
  • Arrives at the workplace promptly, appropriately attired, groomed, and ready to commence work; accomplishes all assigned shifts and attends mandatory training sessions and meetings as instructed.
  • Addressing customers' needs promptly and effectively, utilizing sales techniques, and answering phone and page inquiries courteously and promptly are all crucial aspects of offering excellent customer service.
  • Improves sales potential by implementing efficient and accurate guidelines for preparing, stocking, rotating, displaying, and merchandising merchandise.
  • Ensures adherence to established guidelines and protocols, like those regarding Weights and Measures, sanitation, and safety, to create a consistent and reliable work environment.
  • Places a premium on the hygiene and cleanliness of the working and shopping environment, while also giving attention to maintaining all equipment in line with WFM's safety and sanitation standards.
  • Precision in signage and pricing is secured by thorough fulfillment of assigned opening, midday, and closing obligations.
  • Any safety hazards or violations must be reported immediately without any excuses.
