A Patient Service Center or Client office requires the services of a Part Time Phlebotomist. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, conduct professional specimen collections and represent the company. In addition, the organization offers opportunities for ongoing growth.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $31.45 per Hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Acquire blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients ranging from newborns to the elderly
- Source matter necessary for drug evaluations, paternity confirmations, or alcohol tests, among other inquiries.
- Record patient details with precision and in an expeditious manner
- Our daily routine includes collecting payments and gathering billing information efficiently
- Complete all the necessary documentation and recording of the collected specimens to ensure that all the data is accurate and well-documented
- Keep detailed records of patient and specimen data
- Establish a reputation for delivering superior customer service that sets the standard in the industry
- As and when necessary, the individual will have to perform different administrative and clerical duties
- Journeying to other sites when necessary
Job Requirements:
- Being in possession of a valid California Phlebotomy License or an ongoing application status for a Phlebotomy License is a prerequisite before being hired
- Background in the collection and handling of blood specimens through previous phlebotomy employment
- Demonstrated success in providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating customer needs
- Consistently utilizes clear and concise language in communication to facilitate understanding and mutual comprehension
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary for both independent work and team collaboration
- Capable of working with a level of independence that requires minimal oversight
- Individuals with trustworthy transportation and a clean driving past, if it pertains to the position, are encouraged to apply
- Being open to working more hours than usual in order to meet the job requirements
- Experienced in meeting the benchmarks of a standardized test for color perception
