Account Manager

Job Summary:

In this position, you'll be responsible for expanding Sysco's reach, forging new relationships with customers, and achieving revenue and profit objectives. You'll be making a contribution to Sysco's mission of assisting communities and team members while growing your own career prospects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Push business expansion, infiltrate current client base, and achieve profitable revenue upswing within the designated region.
  • Investigate customer needs and propose suitable product and service suggestions that can effectively solve their business problems.
  • Being knowledgeable about market conditions, competitors' products, and product advancements is fundamental to delivering exceptional value-added services to customers.
  • Customize training and support programs to meet the specific needs of each customer, taking into account their individual requirements and skill level.
  • Visit customer sites, participate in fairs, attend conferences, and go to meetings by utilizing your own personal transportation.
  • Make certain that clients are satisfied by properly conducting the delivery operations and collecting any outstanding debts owed as accounts receivable.
  • Be actively involved in every company function, promotional event, and customer celebration, to show support and loyalty to the brand and its patrons.
  • Make attending and participating in sales meetings and training sessions a priority for improving your sales abilities.
  • Assist in the training and instruction of newly-hired workers.
  • Perform crucial administrative tasks such as preparing sales budgets and reports, processing credits, and ensuring orderly record keeping.

Qualifications and Education:

  • A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related disciplines to be eligible for the position; or they should have a High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Diploma (GED) and a relevant experience of three years.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency.
  • A background as a chef provides a deep understanding of ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles that can be applied in many career paths.
  • Possess a lawful, current driver's license, and auto insurance with no citations on driving in the past.
  • Inclination to relocate to the nearby region on the map.
  • Adeptness at managing computers and proficiency in operating MS Office tools.
  • The ability to express oneself understandably in the English language.
