What You'll Do

As Broker Dealer Cashiering Associate II you will be responsible for providing support to the Cashiering Team.

Here are some of the things you'll do:

  • Provide service to broker dealer customers and registered representatives through various means including written correspondence, email, phone, internet and fax.
  • Process time sensitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and performance.
  • Ensure accurate and correct paperwork is received and handled appropriately using available resources to research more complex requests.
  • Communicate and collaborate with teammates throughout the day to complete all tasks.
  • Provide service on the Cashiering team as needed to maintain workload balance and meet Service Level agreements including processing all money movement tasks, completing retirement distributions, one-time distributions and periodic distributions, completing periodic investment plans, processing outgoing TOA s (Transfer of Assets)
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Who You Are

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor s degree is preferred.
  • 2 years of related work experience.
  • Must become an associated person of Principal Securities.
  • Requires a high degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have basic typing and 10-key skills.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem solving, prioritization, interpersonal and time management skills necessary.
  • Requires basic computer skills and the ability to learn business unit software.
  • Requires strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy work volume important.
  • Series 6 license preferred or ability to obtain within a year after employment.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$16.75 - $35.19 / hour
Time Off Program

Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
