The Store Manager is the leader of the store's management team including the Assistant Store Manager, Department Managers, and Assistant Managers. A qualified applicant for this position will have the skills necessary to provide excellent guest satisfaction through the management and leadership of all store employees and management. This will be done by maintaining high standards of quality, variety, selection, food safety and sanitation for all products produced and sold in the store. This is accomplished in accordance with Lowcountry Grocers' policy on business ethics through consistent and honest dealings with employees, vendors, guests, and all outside parties; managing sales and operations; controlling expenses and payroll budgets; and handling personnel issues, accounting, merchandising, and loss prevention. 

As an independently owned and operated company, we invite Store Managers to take an entrepreneurial approach to the business dealings in their stores based on the needs of their customers. We encourage them to take part in deciding weekly sales and bringing new vendors into our company. -Maintain staff by recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
-Maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment
-Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
-Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; and evaluating outcomes.
-Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an weekly, monthly, and annual budget; scheduling to match expectations; and analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
-Maintain excellent customer service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving customer service problems; identifying trends; and recommending system improvements.
-Contributes to the team by accomplishing related results as needed.
