Cashier Specialist

As an ALDI Cashier or Stocker, you'll be part of a team that collaborates to enhance the shopper's experience. You'll operate machinery and registers, keep product availability high, maintain the store's appearance, and provide excellent customer service.

Position Type: Part-Time

The Average is Under 30 Hours on a Weekly Basis

The starting remuneration for newcomers is set at $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent should have the capability to fulfill responsibilities with or without reasonable assistance.

  • Communicates well with colleagues and regularly updates their direct manager
  • Maintains the confidentiality and safety of files and information in their custody
  • Added tasks as instructed

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Executes customer transactions, carries out routine cleaning responsibilities, arranges inventory on shelves and showcases merchandise in an organized manner
  • The goal is to assist customers in their shopping experience by providing outstanding customer service
  • Communicates effectively with management regarding any and all matters related to products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and other points of concern
  • Contributes to the process of store inventory counting by following the prescribed guidelines and monitoring inventory precision
  • The implementation of a comprehensive cash management strategy that adheres to established policies and procedures is essential to minimizing financial losses

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring products are restocked and distributed efficiently to maintain a steady supply of fresh items for customers
  • Employing a merchandising planogram as a blueprint can help to guarantee well-executed and attractively arranged displays
  • Methodically arranging new inventory and disposing of empty boxes by breaking them apart is a crucial responsibility
  • The primary task at hand is to manage equipment and abide by prescribed safety practices at all times

Physical Demands:

  • Those who work at the store are responsible for fulfilling a wide range of physical duties, from sitting and standing to bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
  • Stock Clerk: Aptitude to move merchandise from the store's receiving area to the shelves; proficiency in organizing products, weighing as much as 45 pounds, on shelves at different altitudes
