As a UPS Package Delivery Driver, you hold a vital role in our organization, delivering packages to residential and commercial properties alike. Utilizing our famous brown trucks, you will ensure that each customer receives their products in a timely and courteous manner. If you thrive on physical activity, while enjoying working outside and driving, then this position is for you. Each day, you will deliver boxes of all shapes and sizes, provide exemplary customer service, and act as a proud representative of the UPS brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Packing and shipping clerk:

• To operate a UPS delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, it is necessary to follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Handle packages of all shapes and sizes, transport them reliably, and deliver them timely to specific locations, including personal and corporate addresses.
• Provide customers with outstanding service, making sure that their delivery experience is always satisfactory.
• Compliance with the UPS Uniform and Personal Appearance Guidelines is important to portray a professional image.
• Integrate handheld devices into delivery operations to optimize routes, save time, and increase productivity.
• Abide by the UPS appearance protocols and put on the company-provided attire.
• Work complete shifts, commonly lasting from 8-10 hours per day.

Qualifications and Experience of Packing and shipping clerk:

• Aptitude to carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
• A CDL is not a pre-requisite for the job but a valid driver's license is necessary. The type of license required for the position may differ based on the state you live in.
• Clear the medical test administered by the Department of Transportation for certification.
• Remarkable customer care and skilled driving abilities.
• The right to work in the U.S. is granted to those who are able to provide proof of citizenship, permanent residency or an employment authorization document.

Salary:

This position offers a base salary of $23.00 per hour of work.
