Medical Aide

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Aide to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, maintaining patient records, and promoting a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities

• Provide support to healthcare professionals by assisting with patient care tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting specimens.
• Maintain patient records by accurately documenting medical history, symptoms, and treatments.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by sterilizing medical instruments, cleaning examination rooms, and disposing of biohazardous material.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and verifying insurance information.
• Communicate and provide information to patients and their families regarding medical procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care and support patient wellbeing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Aide.
• Proven experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
