We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Aide to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient records by accurately documenting medical history, symptoms, and treatments.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by sterilizing medical instruments, cleaning examination rooms, and disposing of biohazardous material.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and verifying insurance information.
  • Communicate and provide information to patients and their families regarding medical procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care and support patient wellbeing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Medical Aide.
  • Proven experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
