Your position as a Distribution Associate in FedEx means that you are in charge of the safe and efficient unloading, sorting, and processing of all incoming and outgoing packages. You are also accountable for loading and unloading of trucks with accuracy and precision, maintaining well-organized records of shipments, and keeping your work zone clean and tidy at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive packages from trucks and arrange them in an orderly manner for easy access.
• Conduct the processing of shipments for distribution, encompassing the digitalization, labeling, and loading onto cargo trucks.
• Use industrial equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, to move packages.
• Make certain that all package and shipping records are accurate and up-to-date.
• A safe and hygienic work environment can only be achieved through strict adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Meeting the requirements for graduation from high school or attaining an equal accreditation is necessary.
• Knowledge and experience in a warehouse or comparable workplace are desirable for this position.
• Having the proficiency to lift and shift loads of up to 50 pounds in weight.
• Having a sharp eye for detail is important in any profession.
• Competence in working efficiently in a fast-paced atmosphere and completing assignments within the stipulated time.
• Good communication skills.
