Exterior Maintenance Foreman

TPG is looking for an Exterior Commercial Horticultural Maintenance Foreman. You will be responsible for ensuring commercial and residential properties are held to The Plant Gallery standards. This is a full time position, Monday - Friday, with pay based on experience and skills. We expect our maintenance foremen to:

• water, fertilize, and apply chemicals to all plants as necessary.


• perform regular landscape maintenance by mowing lawns, trimming shrubs/ornamentals, and blowing down properties.


• weed and clean beds by hand or with appropriate tools and equipment.


• inspect plants for problematic insects, diseases, and physical damage in a timely manner and report any issues.


• maintain containerized plants and raised planters by cleaning out trash and refreshing mulch when necessary.


• safely operate company vehicles, mowers, and maintenance equipment around the public since many commercial accounts are downtown.


• ensure maintenance equipment is operating properly and maintenance vehicle is clean for the next day.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs


• Ability to take direction, delegate tasks, and manage time allotted for accounts


• Experience working with lawn equipment, trimmers, and hand pruners


• Ability to work in all weather conditions, especially heat


• Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and have a neat, groomed appearance


• Must have a satisfactory, safe driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
