Job Summary:

The Diesel Generator Technician position at Penske provides an opportunity to grow your career while helping to keep customer vehicles in excellent condition. In this role, you will conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on various vehicle models, ensuring their safe and dependable operation in all situations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rely on Penske's modern tools and technologies to perform routine maintenance and minor fixes on a variety of different vehicles.
• Employ the use of diagnostic equipment to swiftly pinpoint and address any mechanical problems with your car.
• Perform a range of tasks, which incorporate tire changing, lubrication duties, electrical repair work, and the monitoring of cooling system upkeep for automobiles featuring gasoline and diesel engines.
• Engage with supervisors and expert technicians to advance your proficiency through Penske's training sessions.
• To ensure a safe and healthy workplace, it is imperative to observe safety protocols and maintain work areas free of clutter and debris.
• Engage in additional duties and ventures as required by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is an asset, but candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent will also be considered.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency in automotive or diesel repair for 1-2 years are desired qualifications for this job.
• Having a valid driver's license and being willing to acquire knowledge about modern technologies are fundamental prerequisites.
• Showing adeptness in identifying and addressing problems by harnessing various tools and resources and handling the process with proficiency.
• Remarkable customer service and communication abilities.
• The ability to succeed in group settings and operate independently with equal ease.
• Basic computer proficiency.
