Ops Associate I
Description
The Associate is responsible for analyzing and processing hospital inpatient data, building and maintaining financial models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions for R1clients. The Associate will serve as the day-to-day project manager overseeing all aspects of the account life cycle for various reimbursement projects. Using their extensive problem-solving skills and strong critical thinking abilities, the Associate will provide client hospitals with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from a proprietary software, data processing, and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee data requests, receipt of client data, processing of client data and delivery of results
- Analyze hospital inpatient data and leverage Medicare databases to build financial models and report templates to identify client recovery trends and key performance indicators
- Review federal cost reports to develop estimated recovery projections for existing and prospective clients (IME/GME projects)
- Providing training and support
- Performing data analytics and processing
- Creating client deliverables
- Serving as project manager and maintaining deliverable timeline
- Documenting project milestones
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience specific to business analytics in an acute hospital setting or other relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required in business, healthcare, technology or accounting
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational, and writing skills
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint required
- Experience with VBA preferred. Familiarity with hospital systems, patient accounting data, and/or databases
