Preferred Experience:
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by the office.
Advanced Hygienist Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced dental hygiene procedures with precision and expertise.
- Assess and diagnose patients' oral health conditions accurately.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Advanced Hygienist Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Dental Hygienist.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced dental hygiene procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality patient care.
- CPR certification and familiarity with dental software systems preferred.
