Acute Care Nurse
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Acute Care Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients who are experiencing acute illnesses or injuries. Your primary goal will be to stabilize and treat patients in order to prevent complications and promote recovery.
As an Acute Care Nurse, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide treatments and interventions as necessary. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families on their conditions and help them navigate the healthcare system.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent clinical skills, the ability to make quick decisions under pressure, and a strong sense of empathy and compassion. You should be detail-oriented, able to multitask effectively, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries
- Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Provide wound care and perform other medical procedures as required
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines
Requirements
- Valid and current nursing license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least [X] years of experience in acute care nursing
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of acute care protocols
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for patients and their families
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in medical record documentation and computer skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
