A Specimen Collector position is immediately available to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. The duties entail delivering exceptional customer service, conducting proficient specimen collections, and being the company's representative. Moreover, opportunities for continuous development within the organization are possible.

Employees can take advantage of the Incentive Bonus Program four times a year to supplement their earnings

Pay Range: $20.00/hr - $31.45/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute blood collections through venipuncture or capillary methods for patients of all ages
  • Acquire samples for drug screenings, paternity verifications, or alcohol analyses, among other tests.
  • Input patient details accurately and within the designated time frames
  • One of our key responsibilities is to gather billing data and obtain payments as necessary
  • Make sure that all the specimens are appropriately prepared for testing and analyzing
  • Keep records of patient and specimen data
  • Provide top-notch service to ensure patient satisfaction
  • The person must be prepared to perform various administrative and clerical obligations as required
  • Heading to different locales if necessary

Job Requirements:

  • During the hiring process, the California Department of Health commands that a Phlebotomy License or application for licensing must be at hand
  • Experience performing blood draws on patients in a clinical setting as a former phlebotomist
  • Demonstrated success in providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating customer needs
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication that strengthens relationships and builds trust
  • An individual's capacity to adjust to different work environments, whether individually or within teams, can positively influence their professional development
  • Able to perform duties with limited assistance from superiors
  • A dependable means of transportation and a clean driving record if it is applicable to the job
  • Ready and available to work extended hours whenever required
  • Skilled in obtaining a favorable result on a standardized test for color blindness
