The role of Warehouse Workers involves teamwork to manage packages through the USPS bypass mail system. They must prepare pallets and palletize cases for delivery to rural Alaskan communities, prioritizing the safety of their team.
The starting hourly wage is $18.29, and it will be paid to employees weekly.
Your reliability is paramount because you are part of a larger team/customer base that requires you to be punctual and consistently productive.
This warehouse belongs to a union and has prescribed days of leave.

Basic Work Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual
- Frequent lifting of cumbersome items, including bulk cases that weigh an average of 30lbs and can weigh up to 85lbs
- Knowledgeable in using heavy-duty machinery like pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment with ease
- Skilled in contorting, crouching, bowing, stretching, maintaining an upright stance, and walking on foot for hours that vary between 8 and 12
- Ensuring stores are precisely selected and tagged with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Preferred Work Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in the proper use and maintenance of pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- My experience with DSD and Vendor POs has also highlighted the importance of maintaining accurate records and documentation to prevent any discrepancies or errors from occurring
- Computer literacy

The hourly rate of pay starts at $18.29
