Furthermore, it is essential that the associate stay alert and report any safety or security threats outside the store.

The job responsibilities of a Product Consultant will depend on the particular department they are working in. Customer Service Associates are responsible for providing quality service in one of the following areas: Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls. Candidates for the position of Customer Service Associate might be considered for any of these areas, which is subject to the organization's needs and the candidate's skill set.

Travel Requirements:

Although steady travel is not a requirement in this job, there might be occasions where traveling is necessary to participate in meetings, trainings, or extend support to surrounding stores.

We have a clear idea of the qualities we seek in a candidate, but we remain open to different backgrounds and experiences. We are interested in people who have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow. In addition, we value individuals who are team players and have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills:

  • Hourly employment options: Full-time or part-time roles are available, with regular schedules of 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week correspondingly, and the store may require more hours as needed.
  • To be considered for this position, candidates must be available to work during any part of the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, seven days a week.
  • The capability to execute job duties that entail prolonged durations of standing, sitting, and other physical activities essential to accomplish work tasks.
  • The minimum requirement for CSAs who are designated for the Greeter departments in selected stores is that they have the capability to lift up to 10 pounds on their own, and they may be able to lift beyond the limit either with or without help.
  • The minimum requirement for CSAs hired for departments other than Greeter is to offer the capability to lift 25 pounds unaided, or more than 25 pounds with or without help.

To achieve success, you must have a clear goal in mind. Setting a goal helps you to focus your mind and efforts on what matters most:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Over the course of half a year, I have acquired extensive proficiency in operating common retail tools, including smartphones and tablets.
  • Sales professionals must adhere to the necessary laws concerning licensure or registration requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

I had the ability to sell a range of products, including credit cards, installation services, and add-ons, by highlighting the various features and benefits of the products.
  • I have worked in retail for 6 months and was trained to provide exceptional customer service. My scope of work involves attending to customer grievances, providing assistance in locating items, giving warm greetings, answering phone queries, cultivating relationships with customers, and expressing appreciation for their continued patronage.
  • Being proficient in more than one language may be advantageous for certain store positions.
