Responsibilities:

As a full-time employee, your primary responsibility will be to complete DCA picking and packing duties

• Undertake tasks related to the shipment, storage, and receipt of products, ensuring that attendance, safety, behavioral, productivity, and quality guidelines are met.
• Adapt well-established protocols, machinery, and technologies to conduct inbound and outbound transactions within a distribution center effectively and efficiently.
• Comply with the stipulated procedures, tools, and measures within the warehouse to ensure that assigned duties are executed optimally, and that expectations regarding safety, quality, attendance, and productivity are met.
• The range of functions for this post might be extensive and could include tasks such as unpacking, storing, clustering, labeling, sorting, filling orders, preparing goods for dispatch, creating cartons, and various other associated duties.
• To ensure that you comply with Grainger's regulations, recommendations, and standards, as well as state and federal laws, OSHA, and Hazardous Material requirements, take the appropriate storage, handling, and transportation steps.
• Execute necessary cleaning tasks to preserve a clean and safe area for working.
• Actively participate in Grainger's quality system which will help enhance process efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manipulate PIE equipment as deemed necessary, such as Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, and Turret Truck.
