As an ALDI Cashier or Stocker, you'll be part of a team that collaborates to enhance the shopper's experience. You'll operate machinery and registers, keep product availability high, maintain the store's appearance, and provide excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Implements sales transactions, executes overall maintenance chores, manages merchandise stocking on shelves, and establishes an immaculate appearance for product display
  • A focus on exceptional customer service is maintained to ensure customers’ shopping needs are appropriately addressed
  • Keeps supervisory staff informed of any issues regarding products, inventory losses, scanning discrepancies, and other concerns that may affect store performance
  • Contributes to the process of store inventory counting by following the prescribed guidelines and monitoring inventory precision
  • Careful attention to cash policies and procedures is instrumental in avoiding unnecessary financial losses

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Creating an optimal shopping experience by maintaining proper shelf-stocking and rotation, ensuring fresh items are always available for customers
  • By adhering to a predetermined merchandising planogram, effective and visually stimulating product displays can be created with ease
  • Systematically categorizing fresh supplies and removing empty boxes by breaking them down is a significant task
  • The primary task at hand is to manage equipment and abide by prescribed safety practices at all times

Physical Demands:

  • The store expects its workers to carry out numerous physical activities that involve sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
