Application Specialist
The Application Specialist position will report directly to the Group Director, eComm and Digitization Capability. In this role you ll be part of the Execution Enablement team and apply your analytical skills to identify new opportunities and uncover insights that shape our in-outlet execution and segmentation strategies to drive revenue growth for us, our bottlers, and our customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain data driven solutions and processes to extract insights in creative ways using confirmatory and exploratory analytics.
Manage the end-to-end analytics of our approach to executional data and apply creativity to generate new data driven insights to create value in our market.
Continually grow and apply business acumen coupled with proficiency in data and analytics to create insights to drive action
Collaborate with subject matter experts, data engineers/scientists and stakeholders to align on solutions that meet the business need for actionable insights
Work closely with data engineers to understand data structures and requirements
Drive analytical thought process and make significant contribution to analytical processes, developments, and transformation of new and legacy algorithms.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics)
Experience in building scalable models in R and/or Python, relational database such as SQL (Teradata, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with large sets of data, pulling in relevant team members to address identified and sometimes undiscovered needs for clients
Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas, and develop them from your concept to a solution
Demonstrated ability to use software to manipulate data, prototype new tools, and extract actionable insights from that data
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with non-technical clients
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in engineering, or computer science, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills ability to draw insights and actions from data.
Experience in developing dashboards and scorecards in Tableau and/or Power BI
Experience with modern data management and analytic tool
Preferred requirements: AWS, Azure, Tableau, or PowerBI certifications
