Supply Chain Assistant

Job Description:

Restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise displays are clean, neat, and presentable:

• Checking the conformity of received goods with purchase orders.
• Unpacking shipments and segregating the components for storage or distribution.
• Following the procedures provided by the organization, coordinating the items and stocking them on the shelves.
• Conducting warehouse tasks with the proficient operation of forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner.
• Satisfying member orders and making the necessary preparations to ensure proper pick up or dispatch.
• To ensure accurate inventory management, it is critical to conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile any variances discovered.
• Maintaining a hygienic and well-organized warehouse is critical in ensuring that all company policies are met.

Qualifications:

• The completion of high school or an equivalent program is an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills and acquire a broad range of knowledge.
• It is not a must to have worked in a warehouse or distribution center before, but previous experience would be beneficial.
• Experienced in lifting and transporting substantial objects, withstanding lengthy periods of standing, and performing in diverse climatic circumstances.
• Completing tasks with great precision and attention to detail, while maintaining accuracy.
• Displays a talent for communicating with others and working well as part of a team.
• It is important to be willing to comply with safety guidelines and procedures.
• The ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
