Job Summary:

An opportunity beckons as we seek individuals to join our workforce in the creation and management of technical publications. With your aid, we endeavor to produce documentation for maintenance, inspections, and testing to guarantee conformity with Supernal and industry regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Craft detailed manuals, guides, and other forms of technical documentation that clearly illustrate how to operate a system or piece of equipment, providing users with a step-by-step framework to follow.
• Utilize teamwork to keep the documentation for system components and engineering artifacts up to date.
• Make sure that the language used in your content is targeted towards the intended audience, avoiding jargon or overly technical terms.
• Produce and manage documentation for technical systems, both hardware and software, which includes step-by-step installation and configuration instructions.
• Assess technical papers, sketches, blueprints, and accepted norms to generate technical literature.
• Develop, authenticate, modify and uphold technical documents which include records for design, testing, and alteration procedures.
• A requirement of this position is to travel as needed, whether that means 25% of your time domestically or abroad.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three (3) years of technical writing experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Individuals with a background in science, engineering, or mathematics have a competitive advantage when entering the Test and Evaluation industry.
• Proficiency in composing and utilizing grammar to translate challenging concepts into simple, coherent language.
• Adeptness in creating documentation in diverse styles.
• Exceptional communicative talents that enable clear and effective interactions with others verbally and on paper.
• Rather than waiting for problems to arise, taking a proactive approach to communication ensures potential issues are addressed before they become serious.
• Outstanding competence in managing work with precision and focus.
• Proficient in using VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and MS Office Suite in Excel.
