Job Description:

Ensuring the availability of prepared foods products, monitoring inventory control, and participating in promotional programs are core responsibilities of this job. Organizing and maintaining promotional displays in accordance with OTS standards are also essential duties. Providing friendly and efficient service, maintaining a positive company image, and following Standard Operating Procedures are all required. Moreover, being available to perform other duties as needed is expected. Upholding core values, supporting store initiatives, and complying with health and safety regulations are also mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Obtains and replenishes food products following appropriate buying protocols for cooking purposes.
• Keeps a watchful eye on open PO and credit reports, executing necessary actions precisely and promptly.
• The control specialist's primary objective is to manage inventory in order to prevent spoilage and minimize shrinkage.
• Performs the necessary checks and documentation for spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Provides support for counter service and culinary preparation as per schedule or when needed.
• Keeps communication lines open with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader to address procurement concerns and challenges.
• Cultivates a favorable business rapport with external partners.
• Cooperates with the Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader(s) to evaluate the recipe's cost.
• Oversees the handling of customized orders from clients outside the nation.
• Contributes to inventory management by assisting leaders.
• To ensure continued financial success, it is necessary to consistently meet or exceed targets for purchasing and sales.
• Begins the work shift on time, attired professionally, well-groomed, and sufficiently prepared to carry out tasks, completing all scheduled shifts, and attending mandatory trainings and meetings.
• Exceptional customer service involves responding to customers' needs in a timely and effective manner, using suggestive selling techniques, and courteously and promptly answering phone and page inquiries.
• Amplifies the potential for sales by implementing precise and effective measures for preparing, stocking, rotating, advertising, and showcasing merchandise.
• Abides by the prescribed regulations and procedures, such as those governing Weights and Measures, sanitation, and safety, to sustain a safe and organized work environment.
• Places a premium on the hygiene and cleanliness of the working and shopping environment, while also giving attention to maintaining all equipment in line with WFM's safety and sanitation standards.
• Examining signs and pricing to maintain accuracy is enabled by meticulous execution of assigned opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks.
• Any safety hazards or violations should be reported promptly.
