Position: Staff Product Manager

Duties: Develop Walmart Marketplace’s Offer Listing Quality strategy and roadmap quarterly and annually in order to achieve consumer conversion and marketplace growth per the business goals. Research the competitive landscape on large competitor marketplaces to show the gaps and opportunities for an improved Offer Listing Quality. Use Machine Learning models for feature selection to identify Offer Listing features (such as price, delivery promise, and reviews) most significantly associated with consumer conversion. Document and present Product Requirements to cross-functional teams in Design, Engineering, and Business Units to understand the dependencies, LOEs (Level of Effort), and TTM (Time to Market). Build consistent capabilities in the Marketplace’s Seller Center to enable a self-served dashboarding mechanism for monitoring, tracking, and evaluating product releases for the sellers and debug issues that arise. Ideate, propose, and develop innovative incentive models to enhance Offer Listing Quality for the sellers. Measure and enhance business impact of features launched using Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and Looker and communicate and present the results to cross-functional teams and leadership. This position does not supervise employees.


Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of product management experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of product management experience.


Skills required: Experience building product strategy and roadmaps. Experience with retail and eCommerce. Experience performing market research on the competitive landscape. Experience performing data analysis utilizing BI tools. Experience building monitoring and tracking and evaluating product release. Experience writing Product Requirement definition, business cases, and business and functional requirements documents using JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence. Experience with feature and requirements prioritization. Experience with data science, predictive data analytics, machine learning, and forecasting. Experience with user experience, user research, prototyping, user interviews, and A/B testing. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.


Salary Range: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $183,310/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
