County Locations: Sutter County, Yuba County Date Posted: January 4, 2024 Closing Date: Until Filled Department Summary: The Sierra Foothill Research & Extension Center (SFREC) provides land, labor and facilities for agricultural research studies and Cooperative Extension educational activities for the benefit of Californians throughout the State. The Center has 5,720 acres and 50,000 sq. ft. of improved facilities. The Center supports a herd of 500 beef cattle, including 350 cows, used for research. SFREC has 1 resident researcher, supports 25 off-station researchers and 34 research projects. Position Summary: University series concepts/job specification for Custodian. Under supervision, incumbents perform unskilled or semiskilled cleaning, housekeeping or general maintenance. Performs individually or as part of a team. Incumbents may experience a varying degree of contact with the public depending on the nature, location and assigned hours of work. This position is a limited term appointment that is 20% variable. Pay Scale: $19.47/hour to $20.97/hour This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
