• It is an exciting time to be part of Delta's Technology and Innovation Engineering (TIE) team as we redefine how data is used to improve operational efficiencies. This team is setting new standards for operational excellence across Delta Technical Operations.
• TechOps Technology and Innovation Engineering (TIE) team at Delta TechOps seeks an Incident Recovery Program Manager. The Program Manager, Incident Recovery & Prevention, is a member of the TechOps System Operations team. The team is responsible for ensuring compliance of TechOps technology with corporate cyber security policies and procedures, managing systems access, supporting the procurement and tracking of TechOps devices & technology, and managing technology incident responses.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

• Study disaster recovery plans, and work closely with IT and Facilities to clarify steps/ activity owners and ensure complete understanding of business touch points
• Actively manage incident response, ensuring rapid and efficient execution of recovery plans, and active communication with the business
• Organize and host monthly operational reviews with business, to identify recent disruptions and challenges faced with TechOps technology
• Conduct post-mortems and root cause analysis on past disruption events, develop list of recommendations to prevent future occurrences, and suggest refinements or additions to recovery plans
• Oversee implementation of recommendations, ensuring they are actioned by relevant stakeholders
• Maintain register of past defects, root cause, and lessons learned
• Maintain active dialog with the business, IT, and Facilities to be kept aware of new infrastructure or systems to be accounted for in recovery plans
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and relevant work experience is preferred.
• Proactive, innovative thinking is a must.
• Must convey professional image with ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels of the organization
• Should be highly motivated, self-directed, be able to work independently with very little instruction or supervision.
• Should be a strong problem solver, able to effectively operate in fast paced intervention situations, and exhibit a sense of urgency to recover business functions
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals desired
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills required
